We started the day mopping and cleaning listening to patriotic music. We ate some egg sausage casserole for breakfast.

We invited all the young married couples in our ward for dinner (Grangers, Rick’s, Grover who didn’t make it, and Spencer burhoe) Since I’m in change of making young married group activities happen I called up brother peterson about if we could get funded for the dinner and he did! So Kameron Granger smoked us some ribs, we had Baja blast mt dew (yum), a good watermelon, potato salad, fruit dip, spinach artichoke dip, Oreos… it was a feast. It wasn’t a healthy one, but it was enough food.

It was good to get to know Spencer and the Rick’s better since they just moved into the ward. Eddie and Hansen made it hard for me to hold a conversation. Eventually I brought down Lego blocks and that entertained Eddie.

We chatted until it was time for fireworks at the Blacks. Holly invited us for an early and short fireworks and sparklers at their house. Eddie liked the sparkler and the “boom” of the fireworks, but was falling asleep so we left. Hansen and a I went inside for the fireworks since it was so loud and he was hungry.
